What to Expect!

Yay—your baby is growing, and what better way to celebrate than with a fun and memorable cake smash or milestone photoshoot! These sessions are all about capturing your little one’s personality and the joy of this special stage. Before the shoot, we’ll chat about your ideas, colour themes, and any personal touches you’d love to include—like a favourite toy, special outfit, or decorations.

I’ll be providing a simple single-layer vanilla smash cake for the session; if you’d like something more customised, that can be arranged at an additional cost. Please do let me know about any allergies or dietary requirements ahead of time so we can keep everything safe and fun.

On the day, I’ll keep everything relaxed and playful, gently guiding the session so your child feels happy and comfortable while we capture a mix of sweet portraits and candid, joy-filled moments. For outfits, I recommend simple and comfortable clothing that works with your chosen theme, while still letting your baby move freely and play. If family members are joining in, coordinated colours always look lovely and keep the images beautifully cohesive. To make sure we capture the best smiles, we’ll also plan the session around the time of day your little one is happiest.

Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session or event date. Full payment is due prior to or on the day of your shoot.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations may result in loss of deposit. Rescheduling is possible subject to availability.

Your Responsibility
Please arrive on time and ensure any participants are ready for the session. For events, clients are responsible for providing access and necessary permissions.

Health & Safety
The comfort and safety of your child are the top priority. Sessions will be paused or adjusted as needed for feeding, napping, or settling.

Props, Outfits & Cakes
Clients are welcome to bring special outfits or props. For cake smash sessions, a simple single-layer vanilla cake is provided. Custom cakes or special dietary requirements may incur additional costs—please advise of any allergens in advance.

Parental Supervision
A parent or guardian must be present at all times during the session to ensure safety.

Session Flow
Sessions may require flexibility and extra time to accommodate your child’s needs.

Image Delivery & Editing
All images are professionally edited and delivered via an online gallery within the agreed timeframe. Specific edits outside the standard style may incur extra fees.

Copyright & Usage
Images remain the photographer’s property. Clients receive a license for personal or commercial use as outlined in the package. Any additional commercial use requires written permission.

Liability
The photographer is not responsible for circumstances beyond their control, such as bad weather or venue interruptions, but will always work to provide alternative solutions. The photographer is not responsible for allergic reactions, accidental spills, or minor injuries during the session.

Marketing & Portfolio
By booking, you agree that images may be used for marketing, portfolio, or social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

Additional Services
Extra hours, custom edits, prints, or other add-ons outside the agreed package will be billed separately.
